Last week, I posted how some Gaza Flotilla members had accused a steering committee member of engaging in sexual relations with multiple activists. As I wrote at the time:
When I first read this, I immediately thought the sex pest must be as-a-Jew Jacob Berger, with “B.L” standing for “bacon and lettuce.” But then I realized he is not on the steering committee.
These people are. My money’s on the first dude who appears on that page.
It turns out my Spidey senses might just have been right on.
An X account which describes itself as “criticizing the Brazilian left from the left” tweeted the following:
“The Freedom Flotilla Ethics Committee” have all but confirmed the accusations were against Thiago Avila because they have found they are unfounded and called for accountability for those who spread the rumors.
Thiago Avila is a man of few morals. Besides being instrumental in the evil PR stunt that is the Gaza flotilla, he attended the funeral of vaporized arch terrorist Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah. The idea that he would sow his wild oats with multiple participants on the flotilla is hardly a stretch. The same goes for the alleged participants on the boat, whose morals are also questionable to say the least.
So while the “Freedom Flotilla Ethics Committee” have found that the allegations are unfounded, I posit it is possible that the women in question denied the allegations for the “greater good” only.
