It sounds like quite the love story.
Boy meets girl…at an anti-Israel protest.
Boy dates girl… including going to more anti-Israel protests together.
Girl learns Arabic.
Boy murders girl.

The New York mother beaten to death in her new home in Ireland shared a tragic, final post celebrating July 4th — lovingly posing with the asylum-seeking boyfriend who is the suspect in her murder, according to police sources.
Westchester County native Jamey Carney, 43, posted a pic seemingly wishing she was back in the Big Apple, beaming alongside Ahmad Alsaqer, the 28-year-old now identified as the person of interest in the brutal crime.
“Happy 4th y’all,” she wrote alongside the photo of them cuddling up in front of an AI-generated backdrop of Times Square, with the mom in Knicks T-shirt and Alsaqer in a Giants one.
It was posted Saturday, just three days before Carney’s 13-year-old daughter found her mother’s battered body hidden under cover at their rented home in Ireland’s Killarney.
Alsaqer, who moved to Ireland in 2024 seeking asylum, is suspected of beating Carney to death before boarding a bus from Killarney to Dublin early Tuesday morning and getting a last-minute flight to Istanbul, according to police sources in Ireland.
Cops are investigating the suspect’s possible contacts in both Turkey and France, where he also previously lived.
Alsaqer is also believed to have lived in the United Kingdom at some point before entering Ireland.
Carney, who worked in the healthcare industry, reportedly met Alsaqer around a year and a half ago, not long after he had entered Ireland.
The staunch pro-Palestinian shared videos of herself with Alsaqer at a rally for the cause in Ireland, with the pair both wearing the checkered keffiyeh.
Alsaqer is also pictured in numerous Instagram posts alongside Carney, with captions including, “Dating an Arab be like..,” “I’m his flower/warda and he’s my moon/qamar,” and “learning Arabic.”
Irish police have confirmed that the suspect has left Ireland, and may now intend to travel to Jordan or Syria from Turkey, reported the Irish Examiner.

Her body had been concealed under a duvet, the room was covered in blood, and Carney had suffered sustained severe head injuries as a result of a savage and extended assault, reported the outlet, citing police sources.

Jamey dove into pro-Palestine activism in Ireland and allowed Ahmed Al-Saqar, a Jordanian asylum seeker, to stay at her Killarney home.

While Jamey Carney held some vile views, I am not going to revel in her murder. What I will do is point out how it is really no surprise to me that someone who would support the murderers, rapists, and kidnappers of Gaza (and the people who elected them) would himself murder his girlfriend brutally.
I wonder if wherever she is now, she agrees with the views she once held.
That deluded fool Jamey Carney strutted around calling herself “the good American” while spitting venom at ICE agents, gobbling up every toxic lie from left-wing propagandists, cosplaying as a pro-Palestine activist, and bragging about dating a Muslim.

Jamey Carney learned the hardest way possible that the violent ideologies she championed in the West do not play by the rules of progressive idealism. She may have thought she was being enlightened by “learning Arabic” and marching for a culture that views women as property. Tragically, her boyfriend treated her with the exact same brutal, subjugating violence that characterizes the Hamas terrorists who she emboldened.
May her story serve as a grim reminder of what happens when you mistake a culture of violence for a cause of liberation.
