Anti-Israel Influencer Lily Jay Hinson Faces Scamming Allegations

Lily Jay Hinson (who goes by Lily Jay) is an Australian social media influencer, former dancer, singer, and performer who rose to prominence after documenting her conversion to Islam in 2025. She has since built a large online following – around 3 million on Instagram and millions more across other platforms – by creating content about Islam, humanitarian work, and aid effort.

Naturally, she hates Israel – and we all know what that really means:

Lily Jay Hinson is now under attack, not by Jews and our allies over her antisemitism, but by her own – for allegedly scamming them out of money through her foundation.

It all started with an investigation by ABC News Australia (who are themselves no friends of the Jews, by the way):

This has led to quite the backlash against her from within her own circles:

By the way, this is a totally-not AI video of me right now:

For her part, Lily Jay has denied the allegations, even threatening to sue for libel anyone accusing her of impropriety.

Now I am no glutton for punishment so I certainly won’t be watching her full denial video. But I will say that it has not exactly placated many of her own:

I am also not saying she is definitely guilty, but she does have a history of scamming.

On May 29th, Mr. GAO JIANJIA, 35, Chinese national, filed a report to the Phaholyothin Police. He told police he posted online that he wanted to buy digital money via BINANCE. A suspect contacted him via a Telegram application and agreed to buy for 2.5 million baht. They made an appointment to meet at a bank in Ladprao on May 29th. Mr. JIANJIA then took out 2.5 million baht in cash from his bank account.

The victim he met with a male foreigner who said he was a representative to get money from Mr. JIANJIA. which had been confirmed in the online chat. The male foreigner got the bag of money from Mr. JIANJIA before putting it on a chair near to him. While Mr. JIANJIA was waiting for the digital money to be transferred into his account the bag of money disappeared. The male foreigner said he had no idea where it went before he fled.

Police checked CCTV footage and they saw that a foreign woman took the bag in the bank. The foreign couple apparently worked as a team and allegedly stole the bag of money. The couple then fled to Phuket.

The Metropolitan Police Bureau told TPN Media on Friday (June 2nd) that they have arrested MRS. HINSON LILY JAY, 28 and MR. GALLETLY JOSEPH, 47, both are Australian nationals. They were arrested near the Thalang Police Station on May 31st.

I don’t know how this is going to end, but for now I’ll enjoy the ride.
