Last month, antisemitic nothingburger Hash Tayeh was ordered to pay $10,000 compensation to Jewish advocate Menachem Vorchheimer – after the former was found to have breached Victoria’s hate speech laws at an anti-Israel rally, when he called on the crowd to chant “all Zionists are terrorists.”
Clearly unhappy about it, Hash Tayeh is appealing the decision and is asking his supporters to front the bill:
Besides the cringe AI graphic that attempts to make Hash look like some sort of hero (he really isn’t) and trims some kilos off him, note how he is misrepresenting and mocking the decision. He was not ordered to pay $10,000 in compensation “for hurting one man’s feelings.” As Vice President Judge Tran said, the order was to “clearly broadcast the seriousness of a finding of religious and racial vilification” and put in place “specific measures to redress the consequences of that conduct.”
As part of the decision, Tayeh also undertook to not use the slogan “All Zionists are terrorists” or encourage others to use the slogan. One could argue he is essentially mocking the decision by writing “all Zionists are terrorists” in the graphic.
Not only that, but he is libeling Menachem Vorchheimer when he writes that Menachem supports a genocide (there is no genocide and Menachem would certainly never support one). He also called Menachem an “evil man” in this Instagram story:
I can confirm also after speaking to Menachem that Hash was using a fake, photoshopped graphic to mockingly suggest he is obsessed with Hash:
Instead of showing an ounce of genuine remorse, accepting accountability, or respecting the court’s ruling, Hash is doubling down with cringeworthy AI art, bad-faith legal spin, and fresh libels.
If this is the calibre of his legal strategy, his supporters may want to think twice before donating. They could end up funding yet another loss.
