Hardly a day goes by when the vile Nasser Mashni doesn’t further disgrace himself, and today has been no exception.
He posted the following to his social media earlier in the day:

Does Bialik believe these are Israel’s borders?
Do your children have one of these hoodies?
Do you?
Where is “Palestine” in this map?
Where is the “Green line”, where is the “Occupied Palestinian Territory”?
Gaza is included in Israel in this map, does Bialik believe Gaza is part of Israel?
The Syrian Golan Heights are included in this map. Does Bialik college teach that the Golan Heights are part of Israel?
What exactly is Bialik teaching children about Palestine and Palestinians?
Bialik college must undertake anti-Palestinian racism training.
Amongst other things, Nasser Mashni is attempting to point out the “hypocrisy” of a Jewish school’s hoodie showing all of Israel (including Gaza and the Golan) while Jews object to the “From the River to the Sea” chants. But it is a disingenuous argument.
For a start, the hoodie was designed for Bialik’s Year 10 Chavayah immersion trip, which takes the entire Year 10 cohort on an international journey to Israel. For that specific year, the trip routed through China before continuing to Israel.
- Australia: Represents home and the departure point in Melbourne.
- China: Marks the initial leg of the tour, where students spent time (primarily in Beijing and Shanghai) learning about trade, culture, and Shanghai’s historical Jewish refugee community.
- Israel: Represents the core destination of the Chavayah experience, where students spent several weeks immersing themselves in Israeli culture, history, and education.
Of course Israel is the final destination because Israel and Zionism are integral to Judaism. There are no surprises there.
Bialik is a pluralistic Jewish school, which teaches pluralism, respect, empathy and responsibility. It welcomes Jewish families from across the religious and political spectrum, including those who support a two-state solution. What’s more, it teaches love for all people, not just Jews.
As part of this, Bialik exposes students to different cultures and encourages engagement with the wider world. For instance, on at least one Chavayah trip, they went to Morocco.
“We were in the enormous mosque in Casablanca [its prayer hall can accommodate 25,000 and the esplanade 80,000]; all the tours are at the same time, divided by language groups, and there were a couple of Israelis in our [English] group, speaking Hebrew between them.
“Our tour guide seamlessly spoke to them in Hebrew; she works in a mosque, is Muslim, Moroccan, never been to Israel, but just had such a sense that these Jews are coming. To Moroccans, it’s not such a big deal. Jewish history, let’s do it!”
This is not a school that teaches hatred of Muslims or palestinian Arabs. And herein lies the failure of Nasser Mashni’s attempted comparison.
Jew-hatred is a feature of the so-called anti-Israel movement, not a bug. As is support of violence. Nasser Mashni himself engages in both, as I have documented extensively on this website. So cries of “From the River to the Sea” are a lot different than a map of Israel including Gaza and the Golan, which signifies a historic connection, not a call for arms. Especially given the history of this phrase.
In essence, Nasser Mashni is justifying the attacks on Jewish schoolchildren because of their love for Israel. And he included the names of the students who attended the trip (blurred in my screenshot). As someone who once chased a child, beat him with a wooden axe handle, shoved him into the boot of his car and drove him to an abandoned paddock where he threatened to break his legs, one could argue that he is not averse to violence against even children.
And Mashni disgraces himself further by liking comments that suggest Jews want to take over China:

Perhaps the Royal Commission should ask Nasser Mashni a few questions of its own: Why is a man who celebrated October 7 and once kidnapped and threatened to break a child’s legs doxxing Jewish schoolchildren? Why is he mocking antisemitism?
It takes a special kind of moral bankruptcy to weaponize a Year 10 school trip hoodie depicting Australia, China, and Israel to justify hostility toward Jewish children. But that’s Nasser Mashni for you.
