Marianela Pereyra is a writer, producer, and TV host who has a background as an on-air host for networks like MTV, ESPN, and NBC.
She is also an Israel-hater who recently posted the following video on Instagram:
The woman who filmed this thinks this is a "win."
— David Lange (@Israellycool) August 31, 2026
She speaks over a Lebanese man displaying those murdered by the Iranian regime, immediately attacking Israel without relating to these murdered men, women and children.
All she succeeds in doing is showing how so many… pic.twitter.com/xaw644CiV0
Her video is very revealing of her mindset and of those like her.
Here is a Lebanese man displaying photos of the victims of the Iranian regime. Pereyra does not relate to them at all. They are not victims, but an inconvenience. A distraction from the only real victims – anyone Israel has allegedly killed in our wars of self defence.
Pereyra doesn’t actually care about Lebanese suffering, Iranian oppression, or any “victims” at all – only the ones who can be weaponized against Israel.
And she thinks she actually knows better than the Lebanese man, who presumably knows way more than her about the situation in Lebanon because he or his relatives have lived through it.
The man mentions how Israel actually helped his family, which does not fit into Pereyra’s distorted worldview. So all she can do is try and discredit him.

Talk about a lack of self-awareness. She just described her own predicament perfectly.
And the character assassination does not end there. The comments to the video are also very revealing.

Pereyra et al. see a Lebanese man expressing an opinion that contradicts their worldview and simply cannot process the possibility that he genuinely believes it. He must be fake. An actor. Israeli. An undercover IDF soldier. Paid by his “master.” And apparently fair game for antisemitic abuse.

This is a textbook case of what happens when inconvenient truth meets ideology: deny, dehumanize, deflect.
The perfect illustration of a mindset that can’t tolerate complexity… or reality.
