When i first read your comment it took me a second to relise what i had just read. once it had sunk in the first idea that came into my head was that i cant believe some people actually believe what you just expressed. Let me explain. I am VERY supportive of human rights and i feel very strongly with anything to do with equallity or knowing your own personal rights as a human being. i am sure that you will agree with me that that is a very imortant issue. But here is the thing… i am jewish too. Now- these two fact do NOT contredict each other. on the contrary… i feel that they go very well together, and when someone expresses views such as the ones you did i feel that it is not only my personal right to respnd- but my DUTY not to let people wlak all over my race. Whatever your personal political views,and no matter what or whom you support- you CANNOT walk all over a whole people with a few arrogant lines… The “twisted view of Zionism?!!?” what is that supposed to mean?? yes, from where you are it does seem horrible what the israelies do - I won’t deny that.. but you should know that the media all over the USA and europe is VERY twisted and manipulative in its own right. You want to talk about horrible twisted things? well here we go.. how about suicied bombers who kill people, innocent people by the hundreds, bomb schools, shoot women, rape girls, attack farms, houses, and property? How about their horrible corrupt leadres- that take millions to themselvs and starve their own people? How about the fact that they think killing off all the jews just because they exist is the right thing to do? How about their teachers sending the children to camps where at the age of five they learn to shoot a gun. to jusmp throgh fire and to aim at people who they learn ot recognize as jews…? How about their horrible media channels that show oue priminister eating their children’s blood and hunting them down?? I could go on for a very VERY long time… DO you still think that ony we are the horrible sick people? Now.. Im not saying that the israelies are perfect, and we have much to learn about treating them as our equals, and letting them be free- but to condem a whole people? i am a jewish, israeli and american citizent and i personally have MANY MANY christian and even some palastinian friends- so how dare you say that about me?! Go learn some history.. look at some of the pain jews have been through aver the history.. look at the 6 million dead in world war 2, look at the massacre they went through so many many times… Then tell me what you think..Were you even aware that christianity started from judaism?! Jesus was jewish- and that no one can deny… SO before you go hurting and insutling all the jewsih people take five minutes out of you day and think before you come to these conclusions. Thank you.

Sammy is right on a lot of points–and it’s rather laughable that just because he expresses a non-traditional Christian viewpoint that some Christians suddenly claim he isn’t a “Christian.” Well, now hang on here. Why can’t Christians be free to say, “Hey, there’s another viewpoint here, and why would you tell me that I can’t love an Arab, because some hate-filled Arabs have killed Jews?” After all, Sammy was referencing someone’s racist comment that Jolie should visit Israel instead of Lebanon??? Hello? That in itself sounds very childish. Both sides have suffered, no doubt. But does that mean she hasn’t a right to expose the plight of some poor Arab kid? Sounds like hate to me when you see Jolie sitting with a poor Arab kid and can’t do anything but think of the Israeli kid who has suffered equally (even though we all know it’s true) and be jealous. Anyway, believing, as Christians do, that God chose a certain people to bring the truth to, doesn’t negate the call on a Christian’s life to seek to learn the truth from both sides in this horrible conflict. Further, I think what Sammy is referring to as a sort of “wait till the world finds you out statement” isn’t taken to me as hate, per se, but as someone who has learned a great deal about the lessons of taking sides, and he’s probably just figured out the shocking news: that there really are two sides to this story. He was probably one of those who, sadly, was taught, as I was, when I atteneded Church, that all Arabs hate Jews…just because they do, and that’s it. Oh, yeah, and they want the Jews off their land because they are racist. Well, sadly, I learned it’s not that simple. The story is interesting. The facts are fascinating–especially if you consider how much Jews would have relied on Palestinians to be good willed toward them at the end of WWII. When they weren’t, there was never any reason stated by the American media other than a rally towards calling them racist–without acknoweding any other reasons that most Palestinians will gladly give, if given the chance. The fact is that after Egypt declared war on Israel, after that state was created from what I will point out was a purposeful division of Palestine into two territories, the Palestinians ended up having no say in the loss of territory that war created–even though it was Egypt that declared war on Israel. That Palestinians have suffered and continue to live, by the millions, in refugee camps, and can’t get out–all while Israel tells them they can have their own state–if and only if they promise to never return to it (there are millions who fled the war) is a fact that Christians should not only be made aware of–but anyone who has any kind of humanity ought to at least feel civillians who are being told if they agree to a Palestinians State, millions of them will never be eligible to return to it after the war is over! If you haven’t rented it yet, go see “Paradise Now” which details the actions of a couple of chosen suicide bombers. Be sure to stay until the end of the movie to hear the “logic” behind what one of the men thinks when he is faced with going “back to the refugee camp” once he’s chosen for a suicide mission and has a choice to either go through with it or go back to the camp. It may be even fair to say that Palestinians mis-place the blame with Israel, but if you are reading this and you aren’t Israeli, then you now have no excuse. Most Israeli’s already know what’s up. It’s up to you to go find out, and you are now on the “hook” to go learn the facts– and what YOUR country is doing to fund one side over the other. Palestinians have lost control of the war–as they aren’t even the biggest ones funding it, by and large! Go find out who finances Israel, and go find out who finances the other side (third parties like Iran, et all). Go find out why even some Jews are calling for Peace with the Palestinians and who are called self-hating Jews for evening acknowledging misdeads toward arabs–else risk being guilty of being one of those who only read the newspaper for your info, and ended up not understanding really anything. Sadly, most people NEVER once listen to a Palestinian viewpoint if they live in America–least of all Christians, as they’ve been taught that Arabs just hate all Jews and Jews are God’s Chosen People. I too was taught this, but if you move to the New Testament, you must ask yourself, is Christ really saying we should favour Jews over everyone else–to the exclusion of listening to the other side and being fair? Is that really Christian philosophy? Wow, if it were only that simple. Sammy just learned that it’s dangerous to assume who is right, and probably, I imagine is feeling over-animosity toward Israelis. But remember Sammy: Don’t get caught in the trap. Listen to Jews tell you their side and don’t listen to the news. Go get Rabbi Michael Learner’s book (he wrote a few on the subject, but he understands both sides well). Go read Edward Said–a Palestinian Christian, who got kicked out of Palestine with his family, and can now no longer return –ever–to the land with the keys to his family home! Go speak to an Arab–find one that is anti-Jew, and find out how racist Arabs can be–how they now deny the holocaust–because they are so hurt by what’s happened to their people. The world has long ignored the horrible human tradegy of the Palestinian Refugee Camps (there aren’t any Israli camps,thank God!) -and particularly so, when our own government in America is very one-sided in its military funding, coupled with all the American investment that’s gone into Tel Aviv. This leads many Christians to ignore their calling to be even-handed, but as a Christian, I challenge you Christians to go to Palestine (if Israel will allow you access, and think about why you are asking Israel for access and not Palestine) and see WHY people in this place want out so badly, and will commit suicide to get out of life–and why they are so satisfied at the thought of taking a few Jews with them (though sadly,that too is wrong, and it only hurts innocent third parties and hurts themselves too). It’s about hate–but a hate that has been cultivated by people in the media who have bigtime vested interests in Christians NEVER hearing about what Israel’s government has done to the Palestinians. As a Christian, since I’ve listened to both sides, and since I must do all I can to love both Jew and Arab, I have to tried to read both arguments and to be as fair as I can. Why does this person to whom Sammy addresses his argument imply that Angelina Jolie did something traitorous by visiting a poor Arab kid, who has cancer? What NORMAL person would even think that she had done something wrong, but someone who is only looking at the sad fact that she visited a poor Arab kid? Any Christian who doesn’t see that this attitude has no business amongst Christians just doesn’t even understand the point of Christianity. Anyone–Jew or Christian, who hates Arabs and prefer Jews (or visa versa) is missing the entire New Testament from their philosophy. But I’m not that surprised. I guess I should expect that as my own father hated Arabs and claimed to be a Christian. He listened to American media tell us all that they are terrorists his whole life, and never bothered to go meet one, so was extremely predjudiced. He also had some very strange ideas–not surprisingly, that are continually, to this very day, propogated in the media by people whose interest it is to accuse anyone who tries to show the Palestinian suffering a “Jew Hater.” My father actually believed that this whole argument was about hated (and nothing else) of Jews. I sadly believed that too. But then I met a large number of Arabs, and heard their side of the story, and I guess all I can say is that I never knew even half of the story. It never gets told in American Media. The media try to over-simplify by implying that all Arabs just hate Jews and want to go to Paradise with a few virgins and oh, yeah, are terrorists. How sick I now know this is. My husband is Arab, and a guy just showed up at our house to move us, and he found out the guy was a Jew and opened up the best drink in the house! The Jewish man reponded in turn, and gave us a big discount. Common’ learn your facts and go out and meet some of these people. Both sides can teach Christians a thing or two!

now where exactly did sammy hate? he/she said that the politics are malicious and that they are wrong in taking peoples land? where is there hate in that? any dissaproval of jewish actions means hate?

I served in the US armed forces, front line combat and never saw a jew fighting for the US. If they join the military, they go to israel and then join, even though they are US citizens. Take a look at the statistics for the relationship of religion to military volunteers. 6 million jews in the US and 300 million people. Take a guess at how many jews are fighting for our country.

Don’t believe one optimistic word from any public figure about the economy or humanity in general. They are all part of the problem. Its like a game of Monopoly. In America, the richest 1% now hold 1/2 OF ALL UNITED STATES WEALTH. Unlike ‘lesser’ estimates, this includes all stocks, bonds, cash, and material assets held by America’s richest 1%. Even that filthy pig Oprah acknowledged that it was at about 50% in 2006. Naturally, she put her own ‘humanitarian’ spin on it. Calling attention to her own ‘good will’. WHAT A DISGUSTING HYPOCRITE SLOB. THE RICHEST 1% HAVE LITERALLY MADE WORLD PROSPERITY ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE. Don’t fall for all of their ‘humanitarian’ CRAP. ITS A SHAM. THESE PEOPLE ARE CAUSING THE SAME PROBLEMS THEY PRETEND TO CARE ABOUT. Ask any professor of economics. Money does not grow on trees. The government can’t just print up more on a whim. At any given time, there is a relative limit to the wealth within ANY economy of ANY size. So when too much wealth accumulates at the top, the middle class slip further into debt and the lower class further into poverty. A similar rule applies worldwide. The world’s richest 1% now own over 40% of ALL WORLD WEALTH. This is EVEN AFTER you account for all of this ‘good will’ ‘humanitarian’ BS from celebrities and executives. ITS A SHAM. As they get richer and richer, less wealth is left circulating beneath them. This is the single greatest underlying cause for the current US recession. The middle class can no longer afford to sustain their share of the economy. Their wealth has been gradually transfered to the richest 1%. One way or another, we suffer because of their incredible greed. We are talking about TRILLIONS of dollars. Transfered FROM US TO THEM. Over a period of about 27 years. Thats Reaganomics for you. The wealth does not ‘trickle down’ as we were told it would. It just accumulates at the top. Shrinking the middle class and expanding the lower class. Causing a domino effect of socio-economic problems. But the rich will never stop. They will never settle for a reasonable share of ANYTHING. They will do whatever it takes to get even richer. Leaving even less of the pie for the other 99% of us to share. At the same time, they throw back a few tax deductable crumbs and call themselves ‘humanitarians’. IT CAN’T WORK THIS WAY. This is going to end just like a game of Monopoly. The current US recession will drag on for years and lead into the worst US depression of all time. The richest 1% will live like royalty while the rest of us fight over jobs, food, and gasoline. Crime, poverty, and suicide will skyrocket. So don’t fall for all of this PR CRAP from Hollywood, Pro Sports, and Wall Street PIGS. ITS A SHAM. Remember: They are filthy rich EVEN AFTER their tax deductable contributions. Greedy pigs. Now, we are headed for the worst economic and cultural crisis of all time. SEND A “THANK YOU” NOTE TO YOUR FAVORITE MILLIONAIRE. ITS THEIR FAULT. I’m not discounting other factors like China, sub-prime, or gas prices. But all of those factors combined still pale in comparison to that HUGE transfer of wealth to the rich. Anyway, those other factors are all related and further aggrivated because of GREED. If it weren’t for the OBSCENE distribution of wealth within our country, there never would have been such a market for sub-prime to begin with. Which by the way, was another trick whipped up by greedy bankers and executives. IT MAKES THEM RICHER. The credit industry has been ENDORSED by people like Oprah, Ellen, Dr Phil, and many other celebrities. IT MAKES THEM RICHER. So don’t fall for their ‘humanitarian’ BS. ITS A SHAM. NOTHING BUT TAX DEDUCTABLE PR CRAP. Bottom line: The richest 1% will soon tank the largest economy in the world. It will be like nothing we’ve ever seen before. and thats just the beginning. Greed will eventually tank every major economy in the world. Causing millions to suffer and die. Oprah, Angelina, Brad, Bono, and Bill are not part of the solution. They are part of the problem. EXTREME WEALTH HAS MADE WORLD PROSPERITY ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE. WITHOUT WORLD PROSPERITY, THERE WILL NEVER BE WORLD PEACE OR ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE. GREED KILLS. IT WILL BE OUR DOWNFALL.
