Bad Art

AP are running the following photo and caption:

In this photo released by the Municipality of Paraiba do Sul, Brazilian Sculptor Ivan Pinto poses next to the cast of a statue of the late Yasser Arafat at his studio in Paraiba do Sul, 400 kilometers (250 miles) northeast of Sao Paulo in Rio de Janeiro state, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2004. On Dec. 31, moments before the clock strikes midnight, town residents will watch a fireworks and light show that will serve as a backdrop to the unveiling of a life-sized statue of the Palestinian leader holding the traditional symbol of peace, the olive branch. Olive branch??

This sculpture is more than morally reprehensible.. it is bad. Correct me if I am mistaken, but it looks more like Khan than Arafat.

The mold makes it look like Han Solo in the carbonite.

Your dead right’the statue looks nothing like terrorfat. But I think Ivan Pinto, the sculptor does.He looks like terrorfat. Just needs to borrow some of Angelina Jolie’s (Botox bozo) lip plumper. Am I imagining it?
