Instructions on Nominating for the JIBs

I have received a number of requests for clear instructions on nominating, including how to insert a hyperlink. Your wish is my command.
1. Click Comments or Leave a Comment below the category for which you want to nominate someone.2. Click Post a Comment.3. Enter the comment verification capcha.4. If you want to be identified, then enter your user account information. Otherwise, you can nominate anonymously.5. Enter the name of the blog.e.g. Israellycool6. Enter the URL.7. Using your mouse, highlight the entire URL.8. Click on the link button (i.e. the one with a picture of a chain).9. Enter the URL in the dialog box and then click OK.9 Click Post.
Regarding comments that I drop the strict requirements, it is important that you realize that if I did so, it would create a lot more work in gathering the nominations and setting up the polls. In addition, having the hyperlink requirement enable visitors to the site to just click on a nominee and visit their site. And this is one of the main goals of these awards – to increase the exposure of all nominated blogs.

Where is the link button?
The link button appeared when I switched to Internet Explorer. However, although I highlited the URL with my mouse and clicked the link button, it did not create a link. Is this because I am using a Mac?
On my Mac, the link button did not appear at all with Safari. It appeared but did not work with Internet Explorer. However, it finally worked when I tried Firefox.
