The Massacre Experts

Damn we’re a crafty bunch.

Years after committing a massacre involving only 56 people (the vast majority of whom were terrorist combatants), we have now mastered the art of committing massacres against inanimate objects.

Palestinian officials said Monday that Israel has been committing a massacre against civilization and relegions in the holy city of Jerusalem.

In a conference on saving Jerusalem, organized by “The Coalition of Jerusalem” (broadcast by RNA) Palestinian Supreme Judge, Taisaeer Al-Tamimi, said that Jerusalem is facing a massacre against its holy shrines, culture, history and archeological sites.

He added that Israel plans to build a synagogue, that bigger than the dome of the rock, in “Al-Boraq Square” of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Because everyone knows if we had the Temple Mount, forget the Third Temple. We’d rather build a really, really big synagogue.

Only Arabic Hannibal Lectors could say that Jerusalem is facing a massacre against its holy shrines, culture, history and archeological sites.
Listen to the pot, call the kettle black.

Just remind me again who destroyed “holy shrines, culture, history and archaeological sites” when Jerusalem was a divided city? Having just asked the question, I realised that I was forgetting that the destroyed sites weren’t Islamic, so don’t count as “holy shrines, culture, history and archaeological sites” – silly me….

Reminds me of a time a while back when they were first trying to build houses in the Har Homa neighbourhood of Jerusalem and one Palestinian official deemed the mere act of a building a house “an act of terrorism”.
