A timely and eloquent response to the BBC asinine segment on The Big Question yesterday.
Never saw it but these studio shows with a different points of view tend to raise my blood pressure too much as you will always get the idiot-to-rational informed person ratio wrong.
On the other hand the extensive coverage on BBC radio 5live was very moving, every survivor was allowed to give their story unchallenged…..great peice of journalism actually.
I didn’t actually see either, just happened to come across an article on the episode over on ToI before I watched this and yeah I’d agree that “debate” shows are highly suspect these day. Your second point though perfectly illustrates the suspect, at best, bias of the BBC that two weren’t reversed in the mediums in which they were broadcast…especially given what day it is.

May God bless you sir Benjamin Kingsley
Very thoughtful analysis of what’s been lost by Europe “moving on.”
