More on the Boy Who Would Die

Here is more on yesterday’s boy bomb.

Scenes of a mildly intellectually disabled teenager with a suicide bomb strapped to his body were caught on camera at a crowded West Bank checkpoint yesterday.

The boy’s oversized jersey aroused suspicion and soldiers took cover behind barricades, pointing their guns at the boy and ordering him to stop.

After he asked for help and said he did not want to blow up, the soldiers used a remote control bomb disposal robot to deliver him a pair of scissors which he used to cut the vest off.

He cut off part of it and struggled with the rest.

“I don’t how to get this off,” he said in frustration before successfully removing it.

Soldiers ordered him to take off his undershirt and pull down his jeans to make sure he had no other weapons and then arrested him.

Sappers blew up the vest, which the army said was an eight kg bomb.

The family of the Palestinian boy, named as Hussam Abdo, later said he was gullible and easily manipulated.

“He doesn’t know anything, and he has the intelligence of a 12-year-old,” his brother, Hosni, said.

Abdo, though 16, looked far younger, and the Israeli military initially said it believed he was 10 years old. The discovery set off a tense encounter with soldiers the army said he had been sent to kill.

The Al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades claimed responsibility for the attempt.

Al Aqsa is loosely linked to Yasser Arafat’s Fatah movement.

Notice how the IDF soldiers went to great efforts to help the boy, despite the significant risk to themselves. This does not matter to his family though.

Hosni Abdo said he was furious with whoever persuaded his brother to become a suicide bomber.

“The ones who sent him are stupid, because the army will give him two slaps and he will tell them who sent him,” he said.

In other words, his brother thinks the terrorists are stupid to put Abdo at the mercy of “brutal” IDF soldiers, and not because they convinced him to be a suicide bomber!

Despite the barbarity of the terrorists who are willing to sacrifice a young child, there will always be people like this who will point to such incidents as proof that the PLO Arabs have no hope. To these people, I say pay very close attention to the next quote:

“Blowing myself up is the only chance I’ve got to have sex with 72 virgins in the Garden of Eden,” Abdu said his handlers had told him.

Yes, he was desperate, alright. To get laid. And there’s more:

He said that he had been bullied at school for his poor academic performance and that he had wanted “to be a hero.”

Yes, blame Israel all you like, but the real cause of this terror lies at the hands of the bloodthirsty PLO Arab terrorists who brainwash susceptible people.

Update: I wonder what Al-Crapeeza has to say about this? Nothing.

Update: Al-Crapeeza now report the story, but claim that Israel fabricated it (hat tip: Celestial Blue). And here is the PLO Arab denial:

We know for sure this is a fabricated story from A to Z. Would you believe that a 13 or 14-year old would agree to blow up himself in return for a hundred shekels which he would receive after his death?

Since when does anything the PLO Arab terrorists do make sense?
