PA propaganda site, the Palestine Media Center, have responded to the Sun report which alleged that Madonna cancelled her tour of Israel due to death threats by PLO Arab terrorists.
However, if the reports are accurate, the threats must come from someone who has the capability to move around easily, as they had enough information on the movements and whereabouts of Madonna’s aides and children ó enough, that is, to scare the hell out of Madonna. This would rule out the majority of Palestinians in the occupied territories, who are prisoners in their own homes and whose movement to and from Palestinian cities, towns or villages is severely restricted – not to mention the construction of a wall which has made it very difficult for Palestinians to get into Israel, let alone London or Los Angeles.
If I understand the argument correctly, the fact that the majority of PLO Arabs have restricted movement precludes the possibility that the threat came from a PLO Arab terrorist group? I bet the author does not actually believe this; rather, he is just trying to use the common PLO Arab propaganda tactic when faced with an accusation – launch into a diatribe about Israeli injustices and oppression of the poor PLO Arab people.
Palestinians have not historically targeted American citizens during the conflict.
I beg to differ.
For most Palestinians the problem is Israeli policy in the occupied territories, not Madonna. It is therefore unlikely the threats Madonna received came from Palestinians residing in the current center of violence, Rafah ó where hundreds of families were fleeing their homes after it was reported that the Israeli army was planning to demolish them ó or anywhere else in the West Bank or Gaza for that matter.
So what if it is unlikely that a PLO Arab living in Rafah did not threaten Madonna. It could have been a PLO Arab living in London, Damscus or even the US.
So Madonna is left in a bit of a rut. She wants to play in Tel Aviv, but obviously wants to protect her children. Every mother would.
Well, not every mother.

The fact alone that the author is intelligent enough to construct such English sentences implies that he doesn’t believe such nonsense.
