Allison reports how the Israel Foreign Ministry are reading blogs on a regular basis, and may even invite some bloggers over to visit.
This is wonderful news. I have long advocated that the Israeli Government should pay attention to the plethora of pro-Israel blogs out there, and utilize them for spreading their message. I have even mentioned it to an acquaintance of mine who works for the Government. These blogs are giving Israel positive publicity, and providing people from around the world with a glimpse of life in Israel, as well as more background information on the Middle East conflict.
And all of this is costing the Israeli Government NOTHING. Which makes it substantially cheaper than The Ambassador.
Update: I wonder if any Israeli government officials or staff read Israellycool (I know there is at least one US Government employee). If there are any out there that do, I would be interested in hearing from you.
