What’s this? We seem to have struck a nerve with the French:
In an interview with Army Radio Thursday, French Ambassador to Israel Gerard Araud took a far less conciliatory stance than he took just a couple of days ago in an interview with The Jerusalem Post.
“I think you have an anti-French neurosis,” Araud said. He complained that Israel accuses France of everything and “all anti-Semitic graffiti in Paris” gets top headlines.
Anti-French neurosis? I wonder if that is a real medical condition. We might never know.
But seriously, why the hissy fit? Surely, the Ambassador should have come to expect this from a sh*tty little country full of punks.
Then again, perhaps the Ambassador confused Israel with some other country. It could happen.
