Israellycool Meets Israelity (Israelly Confusing to Anybody?)

I made no secret about the fact that I was somewhat disappointed about not being invited to join the fantastic new Israeli blog Israelity. Not because I think I am “all that”, but rather because the main aim of my blogging has always been to promote Israel, and I feel that Israelity provides a great opportunity to do this.

After Harry read my post, he emailed me to express his apologies, but also offered a good explanation as to why I was not initially invited to contribute. The reason? I primarily write about politics, and he did not think that I would be interested in writing about the “daily life.”

I can honestly understand where Harry is coming from, and would also have come to the same conclusion. So definitely no hard feelings. What’s more, after I told Harry that I am interested in posting about daily life in Israel, without entering into any political discussions or punditry, he invited me to join the team.

So watch this space in the coming days.

Heck, you should be watching it now. Kol Hakavod to Harry and the ISRAEL21c team for such a kick-tush idea.
