A neo palestinian terrorist has been killed after his car exploded.

Ynetnews and the Jerusalem Post make it clear that the IDF deny involvement in the explosion. According to Ynet, even the neo palestinian police do not see any signs of IDF involvement.

A Gaza City explosion left one man dead and three others wounded Sunday afternoon.

Witnesses said they saw four missiles fired at a car traveling to a Hamas training camp, and claimed the explosion was the result of an aerial assault by Israel, but the IDF said it was not connected to the incident.

Muhammad Abd Aal, a member of the Popular Resistance Committees, (PRC) was killed in the explosion.

Official PA security sources have yet to provide their version of the incident.

Palestinian police said they were investigating the circumstances of the explosion, and added there was no sign the IDF was involved.

The IDF Spokesperson’s Office said the explosion was likely caused by a Hamas work accident and that the army was not operating at all in the area during the time of the explosion.

Normally the IDF are not averse to admitting to such a hit, so I am inclined to believe them. I am especially inclined to believe the IDF version over any neo palestinian version, given the great neo palestinian tradition of lying.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding the cause of this explosion (and the likelihood that it was, indeed, a work accident), Ha’aretz are true to form in reporting IDF involvement as fact.

Israel Air Force aircraft fired missiles at a car in the Gaza Strip on Sunday afternoon in an apparent targeted killing of Palestinian militants.

The missile strike caused an explosion that rocked the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.

Not only that, but Ha’aretz do not even report the IDF’s denial!

Which all begs the question: on who’s side is Ha’aretz?

I fear I already know the answer.
