Countdown to the Israeli Elections: 7 Days to Go

Kadima and Labor are bickering over key seats in the next cabinet.

After bickering with Bibi last week, Yisrael Beiteinu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman now says that he would prefer a coalition with Likud, rather than one with Labor or Kadima. In fact, Lieberman has made it very clear that he will not be part of any coalition government if it includes Olmert’s withdrawal plan, since such a plan strengthens Hamas and other terrorists.

No bickering with Amir Peretz in Kiryat Malakhi. Just a whole lotta love.

More than 22,000 policemen will be deployed on election day, in order to maintain public order and prevent terror attacks. Yes, it seems palestinian terrorists will be trying to exploit the fact that there will be many crowded places. Go figure.
