Old Bomb

Meet Fatma Omar An-Najar, the latest palestinian suicide bomber. At 57 years of age (or 64, depending on who you believe), she should have been taking out her dentures, instead of trying to take out Israelis. Thankfully, she suffered premature explodation, and only managed to lightly wound 3 IDF soldiers, while killing herself. I guess at her age, it is easy to lose control of your bodily bombily functions.

According to Ha’aretz:

The bomber’s family said she was 64 years old, apparently making her the oldest female suicide bomber to date.

Take a look at her. I wouldn’t characterize her as someone “to date.” In fact, even Sheik Hilaly might admit that the laws of uncovered meat would not apply in her case. The cats would simply run away.

The Jerusalem Post sheds some light on her supposed motivation.

At the ramshackle compound where the extended family lives, her oldest daughter, Fatheya, 52, explained her motives. “They (Israelis) destroyed her house, they killed her grandson – my son. Another grandson is in a wheelchair with an amputated leg,” she said. “She and I, we went to the mosque. We were looking for martyrdom.”

Chances are, if the IDF destroyed her house, it means someone in her family was involved in terrorism. But whatever her motivation, what kind of depraved culture promotes terrorism as a legitimate response to perceived injustice? I can assure you that my grandmother went through a much harder time than this evil fossil, yet never tried to murder people (The terror apologists seem to forget the fact that the Jewish people have been through a hell of a lot more than the palestinians, yet never became terrorists).

One more point: notice how the terrorist’s 52 year-old daughter is quoted. Now recall that the terrorist was either 57 or 64 years of age herself. Which means she had her child when she was either 5 or 12 years old.
