Another airborne bacon moment, with an AP stringer seeming to admit that IAF targeted killings on terrorists are working, and that the terrorists use civilians as human shields.
A Palestinian man runs with an injured boy after an Israeli missile strike on a Hamas base, after they gathered at the scene of an earlier airstrike on the area, in Nusseirat, central Gaza Strip, in this Friday, May 25, 2007 file photo. Over the past six years, Israel’s policy of ‘targeted killings’ has reshaped the battlefield in Gaza, giving it an effective tool against militants who operate amid the area’s crowded landscape. He loses points, though, for publishing a 9-month old photo, seemingly just to show a child apparently injured in one of the strikes. I am guessing he had to resort to that tactic (as well as the tried and tested tactic of taking grieving relative pictures) given the IAF’s improved strike rate in recent times.
