A Palestinian activist throws a stone as a kind of military grenade bounces next to him during a demonstration against Israel’s controversial separation barrier in the West Bank village of Billin near Ramallah on June 13, 2008. A Palestinian suffered a severe live gunshot wound today, along with seven others who were wounded by rubber bullets, when Israeli troops dispersed a protest against Israel’s barrier in the occupied West Bank, medics and witnesses said.
Of course, that “kind of military grenade” is a tear gas canister.
But since they don’t actually kill, the AFP did not see fit to describe it as such.
It not fitting their narrative and all.
