Euphemistically Yours

Yet another Ambiguous Explosion of Death.TM

A Palestinian man from the Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City was injured on Wednesday morning in ambiguous explosion in his own home.

Palestinian medical sources identified the victim as 37-year-old Iyad Dreimly asserting that he was transferred to the Ash-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City

I guess he should just be pleased he was transferred to Ash-Shifa and not to ashes.

As for the ambiguity part, the only unclear thing about this explosion is for which terrorist organization he was preparing the explosives.

Update: It looks like the Mr Dreimly may have been injured by friendly fire, and not a work accident after all (hat tip: Soccer Dad).

In Gaza, meanwhile, health officials said Iyad Dremly, a Palestinian attorney who works for the Palestinian Center for Conflict Resolution, was badly wounded in an explosion that ripped through his two-story apartment building in Gaza City.

Militants were firing rockets and mortars from the area, but the military said it did not carry out any attacks on Gaza, suggesting the blast was caused by misfired explosives

Now I see why they called it ambiguous.
