Shortly after Sudan’s Foreign Minister Ali Karti on Wednesday accused Israel of carrying out an attack on Tuesday near Port Sudan that killed two people, Arabic news daily Al-Arabiya reported that one of the targets was a senior Hamas military commander.

The report said that the second man that was killed was a local citizen.

Sudan’s foreign minister said Khartoum reserved the right to react to the aggression. “This is absolutely an Israeli attack,” he told reporters.

He said Israel undertook the attack in order to scupper Sudan’s chances of being removed from a US list of state sponsors of terrorism.

Don’t you just love the rationale of the Sudanese foreign minister? He claims we killed this Hamas commander in an attempt to keep Sudan on the US list of terror sponsors. As opposed to – you know – killing a dangerous terrorist working to kill innocent people.

Not that there is any proof we did it. Although if we did – well done!

  1. The White House put out a statement on the attack. "President and sometimes Chairman of Cubas Communist Ruling Junta" Barack Hussein Obama stated " Its George Bush's fault." "Those Jews are at it again.. just blood thirty killers… and they should give back Jerusalem and Tel Aviv to those peace loving Palestinians". ":We also believe that burning of the Koran is as evil as evil can be.. and we understand why the Muslims are rioting and killing each other over it….. its another conservative attack on civil liberties".. now excuse me as I have to go poo."

  2. The Foreign Minister probably got his Diploma in a box of Cracker-Jacks! How is the reduction of the number of Hamasholes in Sudan inimical to getting Sudan off of the state sponsors of terrorism list? Would the continued presence of Hamasholes in Sudan impress the Americans enough to remove Sudan from the list of state sponsors of terrorism? Doesn't this moron have enough trouble with government atrocities in Darfur and the loss of the region in the recent independence referendum? Some people just take pride in treating stupidity as a virtue! Ali Karti is obviously one of those!
