Assad Ducks Into Alley And Grabs Hostage

Brian of London here: talk about unfair!

Assad would hit Tel Aviv if NATO strikes Syria, report says

Fars: Assad tells Turkish foreign minister he will launch missiles against Tel Aviv if NATO attacked Syria • He also reportedly says he will instruct Hezbollah to launch missiles against Israel as well • Russia rejects proposal submitted to Security Council by EU and U.S. calling for sanctions against Syria

I can’t think of much worse for Israel than telling the Jew haters in Europe that all they have to do to flatten Tel Aviv is drop a couple of cheap bombs on Damascus! Yikes. I think I’ll be cleaning up the bomb shelter at home tonight.

Update: Israel’s answer!

The government sent a message to Syrian President Bashar Assad in recent days, warning him that if he started a war with the Jewish state in order to divert attention from domestic problems, Israel will target him personally, Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida reported on Tuesday.

Ne ne na ne ne! so there!

  1. I'm a little surprised by the blase' attitude the Israeli press has exhibited in response to these saber-rattling comments directed toward Israel by Assad. It seems like the Israeli attitude is "ho hum, this jerk is threatening us again. Let's go out for deli."
