One Minute’s Silence for Murdered Israeli Athletes

Recently, Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon wrote a letter to the¬†International Olympic Committee on behalf of the relatives of the Israeli athletes murdered at the 1972 Munich Olympics, requesting a minute’s silence at this summer’s London Olympic Games in their memory.

The request was rejected.

Now Israel has launched a public campaign calling on the IOC to reverse its decision
