Since many of you don’t live in Israel and perhaps some have never even had the opportunity to visit (if you haven’t talk to me, I work in tourism, I can give you some good advice – and no Dave, thats not shameless plugging, its genuine free advice I’m offering) it occurs to me that maybe the only exposure you have had to Israeli music is that horrible dross you see in the Eurovision (poor-excuse-for-a) Song Contest. I absolutely refuse to watch that thing, and I refuse to get upset when the latest piece of crap Israeli song has failed to make it to the finals.
Well, Israeli music can actually be AWESOME. Not always, but there is PLENTY of great stuff. So without further ado, I want to introduce you to one of my favourite Israeli artists – Beri Saharof singing “Kaha Ze”. This is s beautiful song, and its extra special for me because it was the song to which I walked down the aisle. (if you like it let me know, and I’ll be happy to post some other quality Israeli music)
