Terror In Tel Aviv: 9 Stabbed On Bus; Media Does Its Usual Thing
That’s a palestinian man shot in the leg by an Israeli this morning.
A palestinian man who decided to adopt the #I’llridewithyou approach.
Armed with a knife and burning hatred.
Two of the victims were seriously injured and several others suffered moderate injuries, Magen David Adom said. Others at the scene were treated for shock.
The injured were evacuated to the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer and Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv.
The attacker fled on foot but was shot and neutralized by police and is being questioned. The assailant is a 23-year-old man from the West Bank city of Tulkarm, illegally residing in Israel, police said.
Tel Aviv police chief Bentzi Sau said the attacker boarded the bus about 400 meters away from where the incident began. He first attacked the driver, then began stabbing a number of bus passengers.
Meanwhile, here is how some of the mainstream media have reported it:
AFP leads with Israel’s “aggressive act” of shooting the terrorist:
The BBC passively describes it as a bus attack, without mentioning in the headline who was responsible (perhaps the bus did it?!)
They then lead with the act of the terrorist being shot.
And CNN avoids mentioning the nationality of the attacker in their headline:
Update: The palestinians have condemned this as a “lone wolf attack” of a mentally disturbed person.

I am waiting for the inevitable photos of palestinians handing out candies. Give it a few hours.
