I do not watch much television – and certainly not reality TV – but in my past, I did watch Survivor from time to time. And my favorite contestant was Rupert.
Now I have just learned that Rupert participated in Survivor Israel. As a prize!
‘Survivor’ Rupert: ‘Israel was cool’
Rupert Boneham has confirmed that he was asked to be a reward on Survivor: Israel.
“Survivor: Israel contacted us at our offices in Indianapolis and asked me if I would be willing to be a prize in their game. In my mind, I consider that a really cool Survivor experience,” he told DS.
Under the terms of the competition, the winning Israeli tribe won fishing gear and Boneham himself for three days.
“I got to go out and catch fish with my bare hands, make fire and play around – showing these guys how to keep going in the game.”
Granted, this is not news (it happened, like, 4 years ago), but he did say Israel was cool. Which sounds very close to the name of this blog.
