Legends Of Tomorrow: Subtle Jab At Palestinian Terror

There’s a new show on television, a spin-off of the DC shows Arrow and The Flash named Legends of Tomorrow.

The premise?

legends of tomorrowTime Master Rip Hunter travels back in time to the present day where he brings together a team of heroes and villains in an attempt to prevent Vandal Savage from destroying the world and time itself

Yep, it’s not based on a true story.

The Vandal Savage character is a 4,000-year-old immortal. One of the other characters, a professor from 1975, explains:

“He hides in the shadows, never drawing too much attention. But every lifetime, placing himself near the seat of power, sowing seeds of destruction.”

This is what appears in the episode as he completes that sentence.

lot arafat

And in case you cannot make out the historical setting, here is the actual photo it is based on.

idi amin arafat

Idi Amin Dada, Yasser Arafat, King Sobhuza of Swaziland in Kampala, Uganda on July 29, 1975.

Arafat, Amin – those were some seriously evil Jew-hating terrorists.

So in the show, this evil immortal dude placed himself near Arafat and Amin to help “sow the seeds of destruction.” Implying what Amin and Arafat were responsible for was death and destruction.

This is not exactly a glowing endorsement of the “palestinian cause.”
