Anti-Israel DouchebloggerTM Richard Silverstein decries the 6.5 year sentence of 14-year-old Muawiya Alqam.
Here’s a reminder as to what Muawiya did to earn the sentence Silverstein finds so shameful.
Two Palestinians aged 11 and 14 stabbed a security guard on Tuesday around noon on Jerusalem’s light rail in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood and in accordance with legal precendents, the younger of the two won’t be prosecuted due to his age.
The victim was wounded moderately. Police shot and wounded the 11-year-old. The 14-year-old attacker was held by train passengers until security forces arrived.
The two attackers were Muawiya and Ali Alqam, residents of the Shuafat refugee camp. A source told Ynet that their uncle is a well-known figure in the camp and that this uncle has over the past six weeks called for terrorism against Jews and escalation of clashes.
6.5 years for attempted murder is pretty shameful actually, although we all know Silverstein sees him as a hero, not a terrorist. Perhaps his sentence was reduced because he was contrite about his actions.
Or not.
And while we are on the subject of Silverstein, he just tweeted this in a further attempt to demonize Israel at every opportunity.
He still is having trouble understanding the ex-boyfriend was not Israeli – he was palestinian!

In absolutely none of the news reports was her ex mentioned to be Bedouin. All of them mention him as a palestinian from East Jerusalem.
