WATCH: Celtic’s Manager Is All Class In Israel

Last week, Brian wrote about the anti-Israel hate being shown by fans of Scottish football club Celtic before and during its UEFA cup tie against Israel’s Hapoel Be’er Sheva. This included waving palestinian flags and trying to start fights with Israeli fans.

The two teams played again a few nights ago – this time in Israel – with Hapoel Be’er Sheva winning the game but losing the tie on aggregate.

Despite the deplorable behavior of Celtic fans, Celtic’s manager Brendan Rodgers acted like a huge mensch, when he made these (seemingly spontaneous) comments at a press conference after the game.
