I’ve written about the infamous Facebook Community Standards before. When unnamed individuals report a fairly innocuous post and Facebook arbitrarily deletes the post and bans the user who posted it. 24 hours for a first offence and increasingly long bans for repeat offences.
It seems like the Palestinian Authority’s ruling Fatah Party also has a “community standards” department. Only they can’t actually delete posts themselves, they just arrest and detain you physically until you agree to delete the offending posts.
As happened to this unfortunate young woman.

Perhaps I’ll have to go easier on Facebook Community Standards department or they’ll consider this tactic.
