Palestinian Author Yousef Jad Al-Haq recently appeared on Syrian TV, in his nice suit and tie, and called for “one million martyrs a year.”
All because he wants to prevent Jews from ever having a state.

He is not a lone, crazy voice. This is in essence the root cause of the conflict. The palestinians (or at least those in positions of power/making the loudest noise and, I suspect, a majority of the average ones on the street) cannot accept having Jews with their own state here. It goes against everything they believe.
