On the last night before Yom Kippur, Singer Chaim Israel lead a special selichot prayer service at the synagogue at Beit Hanasi.
For the third year, President Reuven Rivlin hosted members of the daily services of the synagogue on the grounds of the Israeli President’s residence for staff family members.
Israel got the President of Israel, at the end of the late night service, to join in singing a traditional melody of Yom Kippur prayer service.
“Zedukka and Chesed,” charity and kindness.
