Earlier today, Israellycool contibutor Zion Mike wrote a hilarious post lampooning the anti-Israel social justice warriors who come to Israel and stay with the palestinians. Excerpt:
We were informed upon our arrival that the occupation forces hate movies and movie theaters, with a special dislike for anything with Meryl Streep. Our first act of solidarity would be to build a movie theater for the entertainment deprived locals. This was confusing to me, as none of our group have any construction experience and there are gleaming multiplexes in Ramallah. But since there was not enough room in my baggage for both Matcha fair trade, powdered green tea and critical thinking, I decided to leave my critical thinking at home.
And if it wasn’t clear the entire thing was mocking them, he ended the post with “A parody (duh).”
Try telling that to a social justice warrior called Chava Gal-Or, who retweeted Mike’s post, calling it a “great article.”

The question is did she just retweet it without actually reading it, or has the social justice movement become so ridiculous that it is hard to distinguish between reality and parody?
