Quora is a question-and-answer site where questions are asked, answered, edited and organized by its community of users.
Israellycool reader Adam noticed an outrageous, terror-supporting question on Quora and decided to have some fun with it.
Quora found the content to be in violation of their Be Nice, Be Respectful policy – Adam’s response, not the original question, that is.
I think Adam’s response to this absurb message from Quora moderation sums it up nicely.
The question has been up since at least May 16 – this is unacceptable. And even if Quora assumed it was a joke and not serious, why then did they respond to Adam’s obviously jokey response in the way they did?
What Quora needs to do – as of a week ago – is to remove the question and report the ISP details of the questioner to law enforcement. Why they thought the appropriate response was to castigate those using edgy humor in response to such a troubling question is beyond me.
