Last week, the state-funded French-German broadcaster Arte nixed a documentary on anti-Semitism – Chosen and Excluded – The Hate for Jews in Europe – because it ended up dealing mainly with antisemitism in the Arab world. This led to pressure from the likes of the Simon Wiesenthal Center and Israel’s ambassador to France, while German newspaper Bild hosted the film on its website for twenty-four hours.
The pressure seems to have worked, with it now being reported that the documentary will be shown on Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, the Vlad Tepes blog has uploaded some of the documentary with English subtitles (hat tip: EoZ).
