I really loathe these posts (which is why I hardly do them), but they are a necessity, given the rising expenses behind maintaining Israellycool.
First World problems – we are growing exponentially, which is a great problem to have. But it means I have had to pay more money to secure hosting that can handle the traffic. And while the advertising and donations helps cover some of the costs, the site needs more support.
Ideally I would love to dedicate myself full-time to this, so there’s also that. But baby steps – I will be happy with not having to worry about the costs of running this, because at the end of the day, it is a labor of love.
I am not going to explain to you how Israellycool regularly scoops everyone else. Or how Israellycool offers a unique perspective of things. Or the Aussie sense of humor. Because if you are a regular reader, you probably know this already (although I kinda did just explain that to you!)
Bottom line: please donate to the site if you value the work. I do not plan on doing this again until next year, so please support us now if you can! You can either make a one-off donation or monthly.
