Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor Tries to Explain Away His “Son of a Dog” Comment

You have probably already heard that PA President Mahmoud Abbas launched an unprecedented, scathing attack on a US ambassador to Israel, calling David Friedman, a “son of a dog” – something the ambassador suggested was antisemitic.

Apparently, an advisor to Abbas tried to explain it away by claiming “dogs are pets in the Arab world, and they are generally viewed positively.”

Yes, really.

Meanwhile, anti-Israel DouchebloggerTM Richard Silverstein has a different issue with the comment.
