Officially, the Israel Defense Forces does not conscript Arab citizens of Israel who are Muslim, however, increasing numbers choose to volunteer for military service.
One of them is Anis Abu Jane, a young muslim with special needs. His family heard about Jewish National Fund – JNF’s Special in Uniform, and ask to join the program. For us, Anis is another young man with special needs with much to contribute!
This week he arrived to the welcome ceremony with his mother to begin his service! We wish him all the best!
