The following song about love was performed by 8,000 Israelis as part of Koolulam (the Israeli social musical initiative, whose mission is to spread joy through music and bring together diverse groups within Israel) on Tu B’Av, the Jewish version of Valentines Day.

What made this performance even more special to me was what my friend Corinne wrote to me about it:
On Tu B Av, the night after you guys got up from shiva, I went to koolulam with some other women to sing about love. I had read your post that day about the day of love and Ahava Emunah, and I thought about it a lot during the event. There were many times that I felt we were all singing to Ahava, raising her neshama as we all sang her name in unison and with so much love and solidarity. I kept thinking: this is all for you my friend.
This morning the final video of that event came out and I wanted to share it with you. It was a very powerful experience and I think Ahava Emunah would have loved it – would have really belted it out.
She certainly would have.
