FBI Apologizes for Protocols Of Elders of Zion Tweet…But Leaves It Up

Following the uproar in the wake of the FBI Records Vault inexplicably tweeting out a link to antisemitic fabricated document Protocols of the Elders of Ziyon, they have come out with an apology and explanation.

As I suspected, it was an automated account that tweets out all documents within their possession.

This is all well and good, except FBI records vault have left up the offending tweet – which is now up to almost 17,000 retweets and likes.

As this tweet is disseminated to more and more people, they will not know of the subsequent apology unless they are following the FBI Records Vault account and happened to catch it or a retweet of it. And we already know, the Jew-haters are using the tweet as proof of their claims against Jews.

Anything short of deleting the tweet is not worth anything. I’d also like to see them add a disclaimer at the very beginning of the document itself.
