The Most Bizarre Thing About Mel Gibson’s New Film

The trailer for Mel Gibson’s new film Fatman has dropped.

It’s bizarre to say the least.

To save his declining business, Chris Cringle (Mel Gibson), also known as Santa Claus, is forced into a partnership with the U.S. military. Making matters worse, Chris gets locked into a deadly battle of wits against a highly skilled assassin (Walton Goggins), hired by a precocious 12-year-old after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking. ‘Tis the season for Fatman to get even, in the action-comedy that keeps on giving.

But here’s the most bizarre part.

Saban Films has acquired U.S. rights to Fatman, the dark action comedy starring Mel Gibson as Santa Claus

Saban films is owned by Saban Capital Group, Inc., formed by Israeli-American Haim Saban. He is very pro-Israel, gives a lot of money to the IDF, and once said this:

Israeli born business mogel, Haim Saban, called on the American television network CBS to cancel the broadcast of a new documentary series directed by Oliver Stone following his remarks about Jewish control of the U.S. media. He also said Stone should retire.

“You’re an antisemite just like Mel Gibson,” Saban said to Stone.

So either business is business or perhaps he has accepted that Gibson did proper repentance.

Alternatively, 2020. Anything pretty much goes.
