Ridiculous Anti-Israel Propaganda of the Day

The following anti-Israel propaganda graphic has been making its way around Twitter:

Anti-Israel graphic

The first obvious thing is how the Muslim armies are marching through the split sea. They have clearly co-opted the Jewish Bible story of the exodus from Egypt, through the Red Sea, which miraculously split. What a story to co-opt! It signifies the Jewish people’s redemption from slavery in Egypt and freedom as a nation under the leadership of Moses, as we marched towards our promised homeland, Canaan – later to be the land of Israel.

For people who hate us, they sure want to be us.

Unless they are modelling themselves on the ancient Egyptians who came after us. That also makes little sense, since things did not work out so well for them (they drowned).

But there’s also something else nonsensical about this graphic.

The Muslim armies in the graphic carry the flags of Yemen, Hizbullah (Lebanon), Syria, Iraq, “Palestine”, Lebanon, and Iran.

To get to Jerusalem, none of them would have to cross water (let alone the Red Sea)!
