Today, while combing the Palestinian Information Center Facebook page for grist for my mill, I came across this comment defending the palestinian Arab terrorist who tried to stab a female soldier and her commander as they were guarding the Giti Evyashar junction near Ariel.
Sounds like a clear justification to murder.
I looked in the comments section to some of their other posts, and saw this one from the same guy, dehumanizing Israelis who live in Judea and Samaria.
So of course if he sees Israelis in Judea and Samaria as 100% vile and containing absolutely no good, he would defend those trying to kill them!
So who is this guy?
Looking at his Facebook profile, you’d see someone who claims to be for human rights and diversity.
But here’s the clincher.
Another academic who is teaching the young. Religious studies, no less!
I decided I would contact Ferguson at his college email address. After accusing me of trying to get him banned from Facebook (which I never did – I prefer exposing such comments), he then doubled down:
You have no idea what the concept of “Religious Studies” is, so you bother me with irrelevant nonsense that you no doubt think is moral.
You obviously support the persecution of the Palestinian people, Without benefit of arrest, indictment, and trial, you judge the man who was killed to be guilty of Terrorism and attempted murder. That indicates a clear lack of moral principles on your part.You refer to the man as a “palestinian Arab terorist.” “Arab” is a typical slur used by Israelies who support the persecution of the Palestinian people. The slur attempts to sow bigotry against an “Arab race.” “Arab” is a linguistic term.
Actually, it is no slur nor meant as a slur. It is an accurate description. Before they co-opted the word “Palestinian”, it is how they were labelled.
The angry associate professor then proffered this “proof” that he does not condone murder:
Your idiotic comment claiming that I condone murder is an obvious lie, as my comments on the Palestinian page often descry the murders carried out against Palestinian people.
Great.
I sincerely hope his immoral views are not somehow reflected in what he is teaching his students.
