His resume is quite the mouthful – assistant professor at Alexandria University specializing in modern Hebrew literature, Israeli society and the history of Zionism.
I guess we should also add “missionary for the Jewish religion.”
But Judaism does not have missionaries, I hear some of you say.
True, but either way, Dr. Ahmad Anwar seems determined to encourage many Jewish converts.
“[Jews] do not accept a person’s conversion to their religion except through very complicated and difficult procedures.
And Dr. Ahmad Anwar continued, saying: “The entry of the Kuwaiti actress Basma into Judaism will be rejected by the Jews themselves, because the Jews require that whoever enters Judaism be breastfed from the breast of a Jewish woman, 10 satisfying feeds.”
For the record, this is not true.
True, the number 10 is significant in Judaism – it represents a minyan, a quorum of males. But the entire claim is bizarre.
Perhaps he misread Bar Mitzvah as Bra Mitzvah.
