While Ben & Jerry’s has dominated the news, another ice cream story is heating up.
Jibrin al-Bakri, the Governor of Hebron, has allegedly been seen eating ice cream in Tel Aviv.
A closer examination of the photo, while comparing it to one of al-Bakri, shows beyond doubt that it is indeed the Governor:
I have to say, he looks pretty content.
Perhaps we’ll see him a lot more of him in Tel Aviv after his access to Ben & Jerry’s in Judea and Samaria ends. Although I suspect it is isn’t just the ice cream that draws him there.
