Yesterday, my father confronted an antisemite at his place of work in a Toronto hair salon. I got the whole thing on video. We are now sharing this publicly as the man did not accept what was offered to him – a visit to the Holocaust museum and sensitivity training. He has also since been fired from this salon. The lady who experienced this man’s hateful comments should be applauded, especially as a non-Jew who was brave enough to speak up, stand against antisemitism alongside the Jewish community, and confront this man. Not many would do so.
Well done Sari’s dad, and his non-Jewish friend who reported the Jew-hater.
I just wish we knew the scumball’s name, so we can ensure he is never hired again anywhere.
