While his Avengers co-star Robert Downey Jr. has been giving us Jews a reason to smile, Hulk actor Mark Ruffalo continues to demonize Israel.
If Ruffalo got over himself and his unhinged hatred of the Jewish state, he might realize that Paypal’s policy has nothing to do with politics. This is what Paypal had to say about it in 2016:
“PayPal’s ambition is for everyone ultimately to have access to our services for digital payments and commerce, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. We appreciate the interest that the Palestinian community has shown in PayPal. While we do not have anything to announce for the immediate future, we continuously work to develop strategic partnerships, address business feasibility, regulatory, and compliance needs and requirements, and acquire the necessary local authority permissions for new market entries.”
While they are vague, I assume a lot of it has to do with concerns that money earmarked for palestinian Arabs might not reach their supposed recipients but rather terror organizations and/or corrupt politicians. As has happened countless times.
Of course, Mark would likely not accept this explanation. He does not believe Hamas is capable of evil, after all.
Presumably because Hamas aren’t Jewish.
