Journalist Soledad O’Brien recently interviewed antisemite Linda Sarsour for “Trailblazers, Troublemakers, and Dreams,” part of her Matter of Fact Listening Tour.
Unfortunately, the short interview did not put her on the spot by raising – for instance – claims of antisemitism against her. But Sarsour did manage to get in a few lies.
For instance, she repeats the lie that she is a “woman of color”, something she has claimed before as part of a very deliberate, cynical strategy. But unfortunately for Sarsour, photoshop is not there this time to rescue her, and she has never looked so pasty white in her life (especially when contrasted with O’Brien, who is part Afro-Cuban).
She also claims she learned the real meaning of “intersectionality” growing up in the heart of an African-American and Orthodox Jewish community – something she wrote about in her book. I call BS, because she excludes Orthodox Jews from the intersectionality movement when she excludes “Zionists” and compares us to “white supremacists.” Remember, the vast majority of Orthodox Jews are Zionists since Zionism is integral to Judaism.
All-in-all, this is Sarsour doing her thing – shamelessly lying.
